We can always envisage more improvements than can be afforded., but we only support Improvement projects with a high benefit/cost

(If only because it offers such poor return on investment, we are totally opposed to the HS2 venture)

Five policies (presented to Heidi Alexander at City Hall)

Other Policies:

We Support West London Orbital Overground line

We support TfL's proposed Bakerloo line extension into South London

We support TfL's proposed Metroisation of SE London rail services [map on page 9]

As a good example of better orbital public transport, FTL has been supporting the 'West London Orbital' rail project, which would distribute passengers to and from the new Old Oak Common HS2/Crossrail station, and allow good interchange with London's existing radial lines.

The northern half of the WLO would reopen the Dudding Hill freight line, closed in 1902. It is a 21st Century transport alternative to the overloaded North Circular Road, opened in 1925, which runs nearby
